GROUP CLASS TERMS & CONDITIONS    September 2011

Bookings

1. All classes are booked as a course, the courses are payable in advance by multiplying the numbers of sessions booked by £9.00 and adding the £2.00 booking fee.  Prices include VAT at the current rate.

2. When completing the booking form, you may omit payment for any sessions which you know in advance you are unable to attend. The booking form should be marked to reflect the omitted session/s. However, where courses are over-subscribed, priority will be given to clients who are booking a full course.

3. To rebook your place on the next course, simply return the new booking form complete with payment before the end of the current course. Places for the next course will be allocated on a “first come, first served” basis once the current course has finished.

4. Your place on a course is not confirmed until a completed booking form has been received and your payment has been processed.

5. Payment can be made by cheque or direct transfer (please ask for bank details).

6. Post-dated cheques cannot be accepted except by special arrangement.

7. Refunds or credits are not normally given, but are at our discretion in exceptional circumstances only.

8. As well as a booking form, clients should complete and return an Application form and PAR-Q screening form (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire) before joining a course. This information will not be disclosed to any third party.

9. It is the client’s responsibility to advise the instructor if there has been any change to their health, particularly if the change would mean that they can answer “yes” to any of the questions on the PAR-Q screening form. It is also the client’s responsibility to advise of change of personal information on the application form.

Missed Sessions or Cancellation of a Booked Session

10. After the start of a course should you need to cancel a previously booked class, you will be entitled to do another class in lieu of the cancelled session if you give us a minimum of 24hrs notice. However to make the system work more efficiently please give as much notice as possible so your place can be made available to another client wishing to make up a missed class.

11. If notification of absence is not made in advance, it will not be possible for a client to make up their missed class elsewhere.

12. Classes cancelled with 24hrs plus notice, should be made up at a different venue and time to the booked course and are valid for four weeks from the date of the cancelled session.

13. Missed classes not made up within the current course can be made up in the next course only if a new course is booked.

14. Missed or cancelled classes cannot be carried over to use in the same class on the next course or be used as credit against a new course booking.
These Terms & Conditions are subject to change without notice.
