This absolute beginners course will take you from the basics principles of Pilates through the essential level exercises and introduce some intermediate work. On completion you should be well prepared to join a class in our regular timetable.

Body Torque Pilates are Danielle, Rob and Madeleine, Pilates teachers with contrasting and complementary styles and skills and a wealth of experience, as well as a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Body Torque Pilates offers a wide range of group mat-work Pilates classes in Redhill, Reigate, Dorking, Betchworth and Beare Green, in a variety of convenient venues, as well as Pilates equipment sessions in our fully equipped studio with top of the range STOTT PILATES equipment, including a Cadillac, V2-Max Reformer, Ladder Barrel and Stability Chair.

Not all Pilates classes are the same.  If you learn with Body Torque Pilates we will treat you as an individual and with friendly respect.  You will have consistency of teacher.  We will discuss your goals and medical issues in advance.  We will offer hands-on correction and explain technique, rather than expecting you to learn from demonstration alone.  The class will not be too big and will be a suitable level for your experience and not a “one size fits all” mixed ability class.

We offer many different Pilates classes levels, at varying times, so it’s best to talk to us about your individual circumstances so that we can guide you to the best class/teacher for your ability. Hopefully there will be one that suits your lifestyle, work schedule etc. We hope to see you at one of our classes soon!
