What is Reformer Pilates?
Reformer Pilates has soared in popularity in recent years, sold through social media as a lifestyle trend beloved by the rich and famous. However, the Reformer is not a new creation and was invented by Joseph Pilates, who died in 1967. The machine is made up of a long bed, with a moving carriage with springs and straps that can add either stability or resistance to the exercises. Reformer Pilates offers a full body workout, combining strength, flexibility and coordination to create long lean muscle.

We offer beginners specific Reformer classes, to teach you how to safely use the Reformer as well fundamental principles like the breath work, abdominal engagement and how to properly recruit the muscles needed for the exercise.
